Like Capetown and Miami, Bondi is a phenomenal beach experience. This is where Sydney comes to flaunt their bodies and the beach is swarmed with bikinis and six packs. Although people who have body-image issues won’t feel too comfortable, but the curves and muscles of fitness freaks just can’t be overlooked.
Choices of surfing proliferate as hundreds of surf instructors extend their hand to nurture your skills. For an alluring view of the big sandy arc, reach out to Ben Buckler lookout and the northern tip of the beach.
If you don’t fancy dunking yourself into the surf, then reach out to Icebergs Swimming Pool and Surf, southwards from the beach. Both its lunch and pools won’t fail to delight you.

Tracking south on the Clifftop trails which kicks off just beyond the Icebergs, the wind struck sandstone cliffs and endless Pacific Ocean couldn’t be more fascinating. Look out for occasional dolphins and migrating whales.
Tamarama beach is a decent stretch of sand, which is swarmed by sun-worshippers all-year round. A roller coaster is built offshore here which is the main attraction of the amusement park.
Further south, Bronte is like a waning crescent moon, and its bowl-shaped park is dotted with pinic tables and barbeques. The swimming here is good and the cheap breezy eateries do just enough to please you.

Move further south past the Australian parrots and cuddling lovers in Burrows Park to the gentle Clovelly beach apt for families. Bordered by concrete terraces, the beach looks more like a private pool area- ideal for snorkeling.
Following the trail you will pass through Gordon’s Bay and ultimately land up in Coogee Beach. It derives its name from the ancient word for seaweeds, but don’t develop any preconceived notions, The beach here is awesome and fun to frolic around.
