Tenerife’s beaches are some of the most seductive beaches in the world. You will be held captive in its magnificent charm.  Even though the beauty of Tenerife’s beaches in indescribable, Here is a decent effort to describe the magnetic effect of the mighty coastal line.

Playa de Las Americas

It is the most popular beach resort in Tenerife which enjoys the reputation of the Party Hub on the island. This rebellion beach attracts droves of youngsters from all over the world.  Apart from glitzy nightlife and crackling celebrations which this resort boasts about, long stretches of sand which cater to people looking for a laid back holiday.

Name any water sports, from surfing, snorkelling to diving. This resort encompasses all. Moreover it offers a submarine safari which takes you to the bottom of the ocean.

Puerto de la Cruz Tenerife

Though it is not as vibrant as Playa de las Americas, this beach resort has something to offer everyone. There is enough nightlife and amusements to get you involved.  Playa Jardín and Playa Martianez are two priceless jewels of la Cruz. Both of these beaches were landscaped by famous architect Cesar Manrique.

Playa Jardin’s dark stretches of sand are swayed by palm trees. This beach is destined to be the tranquility beach. Though there are some restaurants and bars lined up on the back side, its usual calmness remains unperturbed.

Playa Martianez shares the same trait as that of Playa Jardin. It is an idealistic place for a Do Nothing Holiday. Its decency, adds up to its image of a family destination.

Los Cristianos

Los Cristianos is a great resort to visit if you are looking for fine beaches and tranquil turquoise waters on the sunny south coast of Tenerife. This fishing village has grown into a thriving place, popular with sun worshippers who spend hours soaking up the rays on the soft golden sand.
 Los Cristianos is advised to holiday makers looking for a peaceful beach experience. It has transformed into an enticing place from a lonely fishing village. You can find droves of people sun bathing on the soft pearl-white sand.

The sea is very still and has a shallow area, which makes it safer for swimming. The coast is brimmed with bars and kiosks. You will also find an odd shower service. You will be amazed to see dolphins and whales swimming on your boat excursions.


El Bollullo

It is an alluring, unadulterated natural beach in the La Ortava Valley. You will require a bit of time to unveil this hidden gem. Once you reach El Bollullo you will realise. It is marked by rugged cliffs looking down to the pristine waters, and golden sand. You cannot think of any other element which would make your beach experience better than this, Unless the waves are a touch too strong for your liking.

Playa de Las Teresitas

The Anaga Mountains stands tall on the golden sand of the Playa de Las Teresitas. This beach is gorgeous and is a good option to soak up the sun in the midst of warm gentle breezes.  You can choose to attend yoga classes or take part in a volleyball match, there is always so much happening on the beach.  Despite the party goers setting in on the weekends, the place does not lose its cool and can be easily mistaken for a Caribbean beach.

El Medano

Orchestrated beautifully on the south coast of Tenerife, this beach is the spiritual home to surfers. One end of the beach is taken up by surfers while the swimming and sunbathing takes place on the other. It also enjoys a Blue Flag status. The World Kite Surfing Championship is held here every year, which pulls in hundreds of adrenalin addicted sportsmen.

Playa San Marcos

Playa San Marcos is an Unsung Hero of Tenerife. It is a volcanic beach guarded by gigantic rocks and cliffs. Here, you can find a vacant spot much easier compared to the rest of the beaches. On the backside of the beach there is a promenade, where you will find restaurants specialising in Spanish cuisines. If you feel liking grabbing a snack or enjoying a drink, then there are just enough cafes and bars to cater for your desires.

Playa del Duque, Costa Adeje, Tenerife

Playa del Duque is a premium shoreline on Costa Adeje in southern Tenerife. Stroll along the delicate sand, feel it between your toes… take a plunge in the warm, perfectly clear waters… loosen up on the sun beds in the magnificent daylight while listening to the sound of the waves delicately lapping the shore. Sounds awesome, doesn`t it?

Walk around a promenade that runs the length of the sand. The snazzy restaurants and bistros give an extravagant seating view to unwind while having a drink or a spot of lunch. International food is available and also customary tapas. Guests can also do some shopping, with numerous designer brands embellishing the windows of upmarket outlets.
