California might have derived its
nickname ‘Golden State’ from its olden days as a wild mining state of the west,
but California is not all about mining. When it comes to beaches, it is the
undisputed champion. It gloats about 1110 mile of coastal stretches. The shorelines of North California are
mixture of rocky pools and high waves. For more youth & flamboyance, head
to South, it is brimmed with bikinis and surfboards. Whatever might be your
taste, whether you wish to lie down, party hard, enjoy otherworldly vistas,
Californian beaches have got it all.

Laguna Beach
You just can't get enough of Laguna:
separated bays, dramatic bluffs, purplish blue waves and waterfront parks
saturate the city with a Riviera-like feel. Yet nature isn't the main draw.
From sculptures and art celebrations to free summer shuttles, the city has made
strategic moves to enhance tourism while prudently keeping up with its natural
opulence.

Santa Barbara
The jasmine, orange blooms, hyacinth indue
the city with a soothing fragrance. Surely it’s fitting that Santa Barbara
smells great, it’s that sort of spot.
Sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and
Santa Ynez Mountains, Santa Barbara is well-to-do and beautiful, with red-tile
rooftops, white stucco and shoreline faintness reminiscent of the
Mediterranean. It's a highlight of the Central Coast and you ought not zoom by
on Hwy 101 without halting.

Pfeiffer Beach
This sensational, sickle shaped shoreline

Malibu

Coronado Beach

south of Coronado Village is the white-sand Silver Strand State Beach. Both
have warm, cool water, ideal for swimming and useful for families. Silver
Strand, a long, restricted sand spit, proceeds
south to Imperial Beach and interfaces Coronado to the territory,
however many still call it 'Coronado Island.
