The park urges to be the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’ an expression framed by Walt Disney himself at the time of its inception in 1955. Even today the flawless and mind-boggling Disneyland is still laid out as per Walt Disney’s original plan.

Beyond the Sleeping Beauty Castle, Fantasyland is your best chance to meet princess and other characters geared up with their costumes. In the off chance that you have just enough time to see a single attraction then go for ‘It’s a Small World’, a boat ride past the swarms of children from various cultures singing the theme song in surprisingly different languages.

The Pirates of the Caribbean, which was introduced in 1967 is the longest ride in Disneyland which is approx 17 minutes. At the Haunted Mansion, 'happy haunts' – spirits and trolls, shades and phantoms – vanish while you ride the Doom Buggy through web-shrouded graveyards. Space Mountain, which plunges you into complete darkness at terrifying speed, is one of the USA's best thrill rides.

Your chances of seeing actual movie shoot are all time high at Universal’s theme park which has recently been modified. To begin your excursion, choose 45 minute Audio-Visual Studio tour on the multicar tram which will further take you to outdoor sets such as Desperate Housewives and many others. Likewise plan to survive a shark assault à la Jaws and 8.3-magnitude seismic tremor. It's mawkishly sentimental yet fun.

Among the many different attractions, King Kong in 3-D frightens the living daylights out of you, the Simpsons Ride is stimulated frolic "designed" by Krusty the Klown, and you can sprinkle down among the dinos of Jurassic Park; while Special Effects Stages light up the art of film making.
