Culebra: The Hidden Gem of the Caribbean

There are few nations whose sovereignty is as disputed as that of   Puerto Rico, hung up in balance between a U.S state and an independent nation. It's a confounding archipelago which is made up of four landmasses; one out of which is totally uninhabited, and the rest three being the clamoring primary island and its two small unblemished sisters - Vieques and Culebra.

Far from the hush and rush of the swarmed "mainland", the two more youthful kin are accessed by means of a 90 min voyage from the port Fajardo-which has the reputation of the golf and betting centre of the Puerto Rico's rich and spoilt section. The Vieques and Culebra gloat about long extends of unblemished shorelines, expat groups, and a non-conformist and sybaritic vibe. In recent past, it was utilized as the firing range by U.S Navy.

In this article we are going to portray the delights of Culebra, the tinier of the two islands.

Culebra can be said as purposely complex Puerto Rico, a 11 sq km stretch with euphoria spread out in the air, where hens meander around the potholed avenues, shops open up around twelve and the nightlife is loaded with energy and generally hairy enthused local people at the waterfront of the Dingy Dock Bar. 

Culebra is loved by free-spirited traveler who can survive even if ATM’s come up short on money for quite a long time. It is additionally a journey of soul for individuals, searching for serenity. The most profound amusement of the dark is counting the stars.

One of the main attractions of the place is its rich wildlife. Turtles come to lay eggs here, a peculiar reptile is spotted on the forested slants of Mt. Resaca, and the options of adventures abound in the amazingly clear waters. 

But the island's trump card lies two miles away north of Dewery, at flamenco shoreline an authentic and scintillating mounds of sand, depicted in the postcards across the globe, are indeed the finest in the whole of Caribbean . Campsites lures in over-night tourists.
