There is no country which is as politically confused as Puerto Rico,
caught in a tug of war between a U.S state and outright freedom. It’s a
perplexing archipelago which is made up four landmasses; one out of which is
completely abandoned to nature, and the rest three being the clamoring main
island and its two little pristine sisters - Vieques and Culebra.

Secluded from the bustle and chaos of the crowded “mainland”, the two
younger siblings are reached via a 90 min ferry leaving from the port Fajardo- intended as the golf and gamble hotspot of
the Puerto Rico’s ostentatious and showy
crowd. The Vieques and Culebra gloat about long stretches of pristine beaches,
expat communities, and a rebellious and hedonistic vibe. Lately it was used as the firing ranges by
U.S Naval services.
In this article we are going to describe the ecstasies of Culebra, the
littler of the two islands.

Culebra can be said as deliberately enigmatic Puerto Rico, a 11 sq km
slice of laid-back atmosphere, where hens roam around the potholed streets,
shops open up around noon and the nightlife is full of vibrancy and roughly
bearded enthused locals at the waterfront of the Dingy Dock Bar.
Culebra is liked by self-reliant people who can manage to breathe even
if the ATM’s run out of cash for days. It is also a pilgrimage for people
looking for tranquility. The favorite time-pass after the dark is stargazing.

The primary attractions of the Islands are its flora and fauna. Turtles
come to lay eggs here, a strange lizard which is not found anywhere else in the
world is spotted on the forested slopes of Mt. Resaca, and the choices of
adventures thrive in the amazingly clear waters.

But the islands’ core arsenal lies two miles away north of Dewery, at flamenco beach- an
authentic and natural scimitar of sand revered in tourist brochures as the best
in the whole of Caribbean. Campsite pulls in overnighter couples.
