The Lithuania's capital is an intriguing mix of energetic rococo
houses, snaking aimlessly backstreets, pastel shaded chapels and green yards.
Yet, there's much more to the city than simply the style fabric. The city has
hidden numerous vivacious bars behind its enormous wooden entryways. Vilnius is
flawed with numerous themed porches and eateries. Rickety structures conceal
designer stores and top-end crafted works. These all makes up for an
exceptional city break.

You will find it difficult to choose from where to begin at the famous
slope of crosses in Siauliai,
arranged upper east of Lithuania. This man-made structure is stacked with a
large number of crosses. This hill has evolved over the years with Pilgrims,
voyagers and couples adding their crosses to the accumulation. The crosses
fluctuate discretely in shapes, sizes and in the materials they are distraught
with. Every cross has its own story and most of them are checked with the
sentimental messages and photographs of friends and family.

The Curonian spit
is the perpetual stretch of sand running southwards on the Baltic Sea
coastline. It is barely short of being 100km long and stretches out from off
shores of Klaipedia, to the distance of the Kaliningrad (Russian Enclave). It's
an empty, excellent strip flawed with hills and pines, it is additionally
adorned with enchanting villages like Nida towards the southern end.

The most loved day trip from the capital is to the Trakai
Historical National Park, a trip which mixes the beautiful quality of a few
lakes with fixings of history. The highlight is the restored mansion on the
shores of Lake Galve. The Trakai History Mueseum briefs you about the
sensational course of events of the stronghold and shows stockpile of weapons, going
back to the fourteenth century. Subsequent to absorbing up history, you can
enlist an oar vessel to explore any of the several grand lakes.

All tours to Lithuania are incomplete without tasting some local
delights. The nation's most loved main course is Cepeliani-which is nicknamed
as Zeppelin, because it has an oval shape. These are tremendous potato
dumplings stacked down with meat or irregular cheddar cut, and presented with
acrid cream and crisp bits of cubed bacon.
