The offshore of Patagonia is without a doubt one of the most loved waters of the world to encounter a whale, and Puerto Madryn is ground zero for whale-watching trips. Its gentle waters which are totally enclosed by Golfo Nuevo, Golfo San Jose and the seaside strip close to Caleta Valdes are an impeccable setting for whales to flourish. Whales assemble in these waters from June to December for mating and it's the best time for undertaking an excursion.

The mountains encasing the El Chalten are a perfect heaven for thrill seekers where rich choices of rock climbing, trekking and steed riding abound. Envision climbing through the mountains, reaching to soaring tops and spoiling your ride (horse). You can go horse riding to the lovely villa of Rio de Las Vueltas or take a more challenging ride up to the Vizcacha slopes and loosen up yourself by lazing off in a farm house and socializing well with warm local people.

Camarones has been labeled as the most laid-back waterfront town of Patagonia for a purpose; it has an alternate vibe as well as gives a stroke of good fortune like no other. The miserable shorelines are ideal for long walks and the accommodating nature of the townsfolk will make you feel like basically at home. The nature store of Cabo Dos Bahías is nearby neighbor which gloats around 25,000 penguins and their chicks.

The Paleontology Museum displays the most precious fossil findings in Patagonia, it showcases the immense skeletons of dinosaurs alongside 1700 fossils of other fauna and fauna. The guided visit in the passageways of this exhibition hall will make you drop your jaw, additionally you will  gain a deeper insight into the timeline of earth.
