Cherishing the Ecstasies of the Mediterranean Without the Crowds

If you don’t fancy brushing your shoulders with half of the Europe on a seaside escape, and you desire for a beach holiday where you can embrace the charm of nature and experience serenity, don’t worry. There are few unblemished, unmarred and unadulterated coasts along the Mediterranean. Your thirst for having a coast all to yourself can be quenched in our picks of the Mediterranean coast, which are unacquainted from the hush and rush of the typical Party ambiance.

Rise above the lust for comfort and break out from the captivating opulence of the five-star resorts in Malta and head to Delimara peninsula. There are numerous fascinating swimming spots along the coast but the only catch is that they are hard to find. But as they say that good things don’t come easy, and after bearing achingly sweet pains you will be rewarded by Peter’s Pool- A luminescent natural swimming pool. You can soak up the sun by lying over nearby sun-baked rocks and plunge into waters for cooling off.  The next door harbor Marsaxlokk puts on table sumptuous seafood and the vibrant and colorful fishing boats are an icing on the cake.

Stretching between Calabria and Campania’s Cilento peninsula, Tyrrhenian Coast (20km) is just like small incarnation of the Amalfi coast. Not only does this coast shows strong resemblance to the Amalfi but surprisingly it has got all the same characteristics; concealed coves, fine sand shorelines with daunting coastal cliffs at the backdrop. The coast’s showstopper, pristine waterfront settlements of Maratea is no more a secret. But day trips to neighboring hamlets will give you the essence of stumbling upon hidden treasures particularly in the off season.

The secluded seaside settlement of Kabak is fast becoming a safe haven for those in quest of tranquility. For many people it is more ethereal than the nearby Butterfly Valley. You can either choose to scramble down the steep track by foot or take a jolting ride on tractor, either ways you will be rewarded by a scintillating beach marked by two enormous cliffs. Kabak is light years away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland. Premium choices of camping, trekking and yoga abound in this exotic landscape.

I want to hear from you, so let’s get connected friends!s
