The factor which influences your budget the most is – What Month of the
year you are visiting. If you choose to visit in peak winters i.e. from Jan to
Mar, when snowbirds migrate from the U.S mainland to ditch the winters, you
would end up paying almost the double for your flight and hotel of what you
would spend in the off months. The months of June and July, when school
children are on summer vacations aren’t cheapest as well but are quite less
costly compared to the battering winters.
But during the September and October you will find the prices declining abruptly
and the weather in Hawaii is still soothingly warm.

No matter what time of the month you choose to revel in Hawaii, you can
cut down on the budget if you act smart. Heavy discounts are available for
booking five nights or more in all of the resorts, so you are advised to lodge
at only one place in the island and explore the territory on day trips. Avail
rooms on cheaper rates and skip the ocean views, because without a pair of binoculars
you won’t be able to see the waves, instead go for the Mountain View or park.
It barely matters, what all you can see from the balcony, because besides
sleeping you won’t spend any time in the indoors.
If you don’t wish to hurt your pocket at all, choose to stay in the
rustic cabins or camp in the serendipitous areas of the National parks.

You won’t regretting paying a bit extra for an activity that you would
find nowhere else than Hawaii, whether that’s polishing your surf board skills,
paddling out an canoe and swooshing through waves or delve into the depths of
the ocean with rays. Amazing sights such as seeing the lava flow in to the
waters on special boat tours, is something which will stay longer with you than
you would have thought.
The best things in life come free, and so is the case with Hawaiian
bounties. Revel all day in the beach without paying a penny, because the
legislation has made access to coastline free. Most of the National parks and county
parks grant free access or charge a very nominal rate. You can wander in the
archaeological sites such as sacred ‘heiau’, again for free.
